Am I wrong for wearing a white dress?

The problem with wearing a white dress is that I had a child out of wedlock. I would have picked out an ivory one, but the white just looked so beautiful with my skin, and I absolutely love it! Not to mention the one I wanted they didn't have in ivory; small town bridal shop. Am I going to look like a liar, or am I right to have gone with the one I fell in love with, regardless of the color?
