10 month old with cold symptoms lasting over 10 days - Please help?

You should have had her checked at least 6 days ago by a doctor. It may not be a cold but allergies. Most colds run there course in 3-5 days. Infections can happen quickly. A simple cold can quickly change into pneumonia, and at 10 months, she can't tell you how she feels. Any color to a discharge, especially yellowish or green is an infection. An ear infection can happen even without noticeable sinus discharge, and within a couple of days of heavy discharge. Some ear infections can burst the ear drum, which can damage the hearing. Babies can appear fine, even when they are running a fever of 101.5 or so. It is always better to err on the side of caution. If you are the type the doesn't like medications, state your preference to the doctor, and tell them if the cold, etc would clear on it's own, you prefer to avoid unnecessary meds.
