Do statistics that purport to show workers' wages not increasing but upper class . . .?

income skyrocketing ignore the fact that many people (or their children) have in fact moved from the working class to the upper class in the last generation? What percentage of the people in the lower income groups are recent immigrants (legal or otherwise) or children born out of wedlock (which has also skyrocketed, and is closely correlated with poverty)?
