Ears plugged from congestion? help please?

Ok so my ears have been plugged and keep popping for about a week now. I went to the doctor and got a Z Pack and finished it 2 days ago and it hasn't helped my ears at all. Also I have been taking sudafed and my ears are still plugged. and my mucus is really bright yellow seriously like highlighter yellow bright. but my nose isn't stuffy and my throat doesn't hurt from drainage its mainly just my ears.
