How would you improve this sonnet c/c?

It's really a versed version of life Fred. You did well and wisely to poignantly express how the flow occurs, continues and then ends by merging with probably the sea or ocean which is the larger Self of the river. The flow feels forced in some lines, as life is generally a persistent attempt to become better by trying to grasp the end, but generally the musicality is clear and much improved compared to those of past months. Good work my friend.
